Position

Inpatient Pediatric Hematology Nurse

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

As an Inpatient Pediatric Hematology Nurse, you will:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric hematology patients.
• Monitor, assess, and manage children with hematological disorders.
• Administer medications, blood products, chemotherapy (where credentialed), and IV therapies according to hospital protocols.
• Continuously monitor patients for adverse reactions and complications.
• Collaborate with Pediatric Hematologists, Pediatricians, Oncology Specialists, Pharmacists, and Allied Health Professionals.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease management, treatment plans, medications, and discharge care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and clinical case discussions.
• Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control policies.
• Respond promptly to pediatric emergencies while maintaining patient safety.
• Promote patient-centered, family-focused, and culturally sensitive care.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and accreditation standards.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from a recognized institution.

Licensure

• Valid Department of Health (DoH) License (or DoH Eligibility).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is highly desirable.

Experience

1. Minimum 2 years of UAE nursing experience.

2. Previous experience in:

   Pediatric Nursing
3. Pediatric Hematology
4. Pediatric Oncology
5. Inpatient Ward
6. Children's Hospital
7. Specialty Pediatric Units
