Urgent Care Nurse

📍 Location: Reem Hospital, Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE

🎓 Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

💼 Key Responsibilities

As an Urgent Care Nurse, you will:

✔ Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage according to clinical priority.

✔ Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions.

✔ Monitor, evaluate, and accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes.

✔ Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments safely and efficiently.

✔ Assist physicians during examinations, emergency procedures, and urgent interventions.

✔ Recognise early signs of patient deterioration and respond rapidly during medical emergencies.

✔ Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive healthcare.

✔ Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

✔ Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital quality standards.

✔ Collaborate with physicians, emergency clinicians, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

✔ Participate in quality improvement initiatives, accreditation programs, clinical audits, and ongoing professional education.

✅ Candidate Requirements

We're looking for professionals who possess:

🎓 Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

🩺 Valid DOH License or eligibility for DOH licensing

🏥 Minimum 2 years of recent experience in:

• Urgent Care
• Emergency Department (ED)
• Acute Care
• Emergency Nursing

❤️ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

⭐ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Preferred)

Strong knowledge of:

• Emergency patient assessment
• Triage protocols
• Acute illness management
• Emergency response

• Clinical decision-making
• Patient education
